The Hall of Pickleball makes no value judgment about how you learned to play. Some patrons arrived through certified instruction. Others simply arrived.

Bump Ugly PB exists for the latter — those who came to the court for the pure love of the game. Who never scheduled a clinic. Who would not recognize a textbook third-shot drop if it introduced itself formally, and who remains entirely unbothered by this.

Your dinks may invite commentary. Your form may defy categorization. The ball, however, goes in — and in this institution, that is the only empirical measurement that matters.

This is not a wing for the uncommitted. It is a wing for the differently committed. The ones for whom pickleball is joy delivered without a curriculum.

It is, in the Curator's considered assessment, perfectly acceptable to Bump Ugly.
